How long in advance should I apply for a visa?

Tuesday, Jun 03, 2014 - 3:10 PM

Though it takes only one or two working days for the visa to be approved, it’d be best to apply for your visa about 1 or 2 weeks before your entry date in order to avoid any unexpected circumstances like wrong payment or typing errors.

Alternatively, and this is my preference, they can buy online an “approval letter” (from a private agency such as govietnamvisacom, which offers a very efficient service) that takes about 3 weeks to process for FUll Package visa in Covid. It's the easiest way to come back Vietnam in 2021

I was in Vancouver Canada and checked in after I had flown from Atlanta, Georgia. I did not realize I needed a Visa for entry into vietnam. The lady at the counter gave me their.com address. Once I got to there website there was a number I called it and spoke with Jasmine. She was able to get everything done that I needed within 1 hour. The lady at EVA counter told me I would probably miss my flight but they would get me another flight going out. Again, Jasmine was able to get everything done an hour or less. I was able to get on my flight I'm very grateful! (-:

This organisation talked me out of applying and advised me to wait until the morning, as I had already applied for an evisa, but the weekend was coming up and I was leaving on the Sunday. Sure enough in the morning my evisa had been accepted. They could have taken my money and provided me with a 3 hour visa, but they didn’t, they gave me great and informed advice. I would highly recommend them to travellers.

We were at the Bangkok airport with 2 hours before our flight when we found out that we needed visa to enter Vietnam. Linda was amazing. She made it possible for us to catch the flight. The staff at Airasia counter were also amazing. They held the plane for us while we ran to the gate.

Came through at short notice during the Tet holiday! Jasmine frpm GovietnamVisa was an amazing point of contact who guided me through obtaining 3 visa for our family at very short notice. Even though it was the middle of Tet, our equivalent of Christmas, Easter, and every other public holiday rolled into one, we got our paperwork in short order. On arrival, we had someone wait at immigration to guide us to the right desk and cleared in no time. If you ever, EVER, need a visa to Vietnam at short notice, pay for this service. It is absolutely worth every cent.
